Bugs B Gone
Only scratches are from rocks / jean brushes and a light breeze.
I'd say the Plexus is probably the ONLY thing that HASN'T scratched it haha
I just bought some of the Bugs B Gone by Seafoam, they didnt have any Plexus at my local car place. It worked great on my bike and helmet! Hopefully it is safe for mirrored when I get my new one
Plexus is good stuff. I had to use it at where I work to detail 2 John Deere Gators, yeah that's right a full detail for a gator. But the stuff actually shined it up real nice and cleaned very well. I'm gonna have to pick some up.
Honestly any quick detailer will also work. I use the Meguiars Ultimate Detailer spray and a quality microfiber in between washes. It works great on paint, PC, chrome, plastic, etc. Im not too big on bike-specific cleaning products mainly because Ive had an auto detailing business on the side for the past 7 years and ive accumulated tons of products. Ive used the Honda Polish (same or similar to pigspit or plexus) and it works well too. Ive just found that for the most part I can purchase cleaning products that aren't motorcycle-specific a lot cheaper because there isn't the huge markup for the "specialty" motorcycle market. If you want to try some auto cleaning products out and dont care to order them online, give Mothers or Meguiars products a try from Walmart, Autozone, Advance Auto, etc.
Remember to use a clean, quality microfiber cloth to avoid scratches on painted surfaces, shields, etc.

I learned the following on a car detailing forum but a Bounce dryer sheet dipped in tap water removes dried bug guts like magic and won't scratch the surface. Just wipe lightly over the spot and it comes right off.
