Well great news today!! .. My older brother picked up his first bike this past weekend. He didn't talk to me about it because he wanted to surprise me and he did.

Today, he takes me to his storage unit and shows me this MINTYellow Half NakedSV650 2005. He bought it with 115miles on her...crazy!!! and he only paid 3,600!! So all and all, I now have a true "brother" to ride beside. Pics to come! (And she's absoutely gorgeous) And don't worry, I've already got him taking the MSF...lol

 

Crash that's great. Three of my brothers. It's fun riding with friends, but being in a group ride with you brother will make it that much more enjoyable. I am not sure how old you and your bro are, but for me (the youngest) at 31 riding with my brothers is a great way to bond.

It's a great thing that you are getting him to the MSF class. Have fun and ride safe.

my younger brother got his bike before i did. that was 4 years ago. 2 years ago i got my 1st. and just a few months ago we got my dad another bike after being off riding for a long time. my brother rides a 02 gsxr 600 (which im selling for him after he rode my 929 and my buddies 1krr) but he is still leaning towards a yamaha after his friend got a new 08 r6. and my dad we bought him a klr250R enduro which he loves. it was a lil bit of a project bike so we all have helped eachother with our bikes (just like we have done over the past 7 years with cars)
it is so awesome to bond over motorcycles !

 

Crash, Thats awesome man its always much more enjoyable to having a riding buddy. Two of my close friends have SV650S and they love them. I think one is a 03 and the other an 05. He def needs to buy the rest of the fairings to complete the bike tho. hurry up and post some pics!
