Bout RPM's
ok so i been wondering if it hurts da bike when we ride those high rpms? Also how many of ya'll use da motor to slow down without da cluth or gas or brakes? Does it hurt da bike? I know they may seem stupid questions, but there are those who are trained and their are those who are untrained, and i'm trainin. oh and ppl keep telling me different things round here nothin but squids lol
lol...
alright now to answer your question - personally id rather not wear my clutch anymore then i have to so i always use my brakes to slow down unless its a low rpm then ill leave it in gear til im almost stopped. and the bikes are designed for high rpm but yes top much of anything is never good (like say holding it in a high rpm.) i always felt like taking it into the high rpm once in a while would "clean" the bike and it would perform alot better

higher the RPM the more force in the bearings. but lugging around at low rpms will also tend to "cone" the pistons and you will start using oil and get piston slap over time. so either way your screwed. just ride it and be happy.
