Dunno if it was on this forum I read this
But Classy, the harley thing may be because most of them buy into the "look" of the crowd. They have money, want attention, and want to FEEL badass, thus they decide to buy one. They're not really riding for the love of it (Now this doesnt go for all harley riders, lots of the ones i know ride out of passion).

I wave to every bike I see, and laugh at every scooter I see.

^^ Probably because you would have to take your throttle hand off to wave...what with being on the other side of the road.

I like the idea of nodding, though. But if I do it here, people will think I am too snobby to raise my hand...guess I better just move to the Isles.
Yes, that what I thought strange but forget you guys drive on the wrong side of the road ..lol ...we have nodded here since time
began, I remember being on the back of my dad's hurricane at 12 years old and him nodding at other bikers ..I used to ask do you
know them?? ..lol

Hey Ebinz, I noticed you live in Reno. I have lived in Reno for the last few years too and have noticed that unless it is another street/sport bike chances are slim to none they will wave back. That's only compared to the Bay where I grew up though. BUT, I still wave as much as I can to do my part to keep the spirit alive, even to Harleys!
