I have Cycle Cat's USC1/USC2 front and rear stand. I've used many other cheap brands before but nothing worked as well as Cycle Cat's stands. Works great for my CBR600, CBR1000 and RSV1000. And they're very stable once the bike is up, unlike many other stands that can easily tipover once suspended. Get them in red!

ORIGINAL: MisterBasket

Im lookin for a good set of bike stands, both front and rear. I have no idea whats out there as Ive never bought stands before. Basically lookin for something really sturdy that is no problem for one person to use. Ive seen in previous posts people bashin certain companies and their stands but i forget which ones those are. So what kind of stands are you guys using and how good are they??

I got both of my stands off of ebay from Thruster. They are good solid stands and are about $40 cheaper than Pitbull. I have added a link and a pic of my baby on the stands. You can disregard the moron on the bike, he is just waiting for some nice weather to go and try out his new leathers. Oh yeah that retard is me. The rear on can be reversed if you have a spool.

T-rex racing off e-bay. I got a set and they are built bomber. I could park my car on them and it would take it. The front triple is pretty cool since it converts to fork lift if you don't need tounload the front shocks tolift it. The rears are universal and spooled
They were 119 plus shipping

Funny post as I just got my Vortex stand 10min ago and ran out to the garage to try em out. No complaints, All I wanted was a rear stand for chain maintenance, got tired of rolling the bike every 5ft to clean and lube the chain. I like em, a little common sense and you get your bike on the stand in maybe 10 sec tops, plus don't have to exert too much force on the handle to lift it, pretty easy. The hande is detachable, which is not an issue for me. Got it for 120 out the door, new in box. Not too bad from my experience shopping around, but reading some of the replies here makes me think I overpaid. No experience with any other brand, but the vortex seems like it will meet all of my needs.
