bike rentals?

bike rentals?

me and my father are planning a roadtrip when i get back from iraq. we were looking at goldwings at first but then decided that know us we would be paying some money for damage from dragging the bags through the corners. so we then thought of the new concours 14 or a beemer. regardless of what we rent (refuse to rent a harley) does anyone know of a good place in ga or florida that rents those types of bikes?

Last time I went down to Hollywood FL (about 20 min north of Miami) Oreo and I were about to rent a couple, but Puerto Rico's deivers licences do not list a motorcycle endorsement. So we were S.O.L.

I have a FL license now, so maybe the next time he comes up from the island we will be able to go riding together.

I know they don't have the real hard core baggers. But the VFR interceptor 800 with the optional hard bags is probably a very close second comfort wise, plus you can seriously dive bomb the twisties on one of those. (Not to mention the 20th aniversary paint scheeme looks DAMN GOOD in RED, WHITE and BLUE!!!!!)

thanks for the help guys. the vfr with optional bags might work. i was kinda hoping for the kawiconcours 14. hopefully ill find one somewhere. i got a few months left to find one.
