Drop your current friends, find new friends with some common sense, obey the laws, and stop when cops pull you over. There's a time and place for everything, just running from cops is a bad idea that'll leave your bike in ruins, you in a hospital, and the cop getting award for your arrest...

ride safe and keep the rubber side down.

Asking if you can outrun a police cruiser, in my opinion, is like asking if you can eat a sack full of human waste. The answer is YES...you first, though, and then I'll go. Really...I will...I promise.

i read the first 4 posts and here is my opinion

take your helmet and throw it down a steep hill where it can meet with the road most of the way. Pick it up and see what it looks like....now do that with your body and then decide if you wanna run

winter storage, i don't I just keep riding, albeit it doesn't really snow in London.

As to your first question. Don't ride with these friensds of yours, they will get you killed. Irrespective of the being shot, knocked off and the like, you have bad weather in canada and you do not want to be riding 10/10ths in wet/snow etc.

I agree wit everybody else, yes u can outrun a cop but is it really worth it? I just got pulled over on my 1krr a couple nights ago and the cop was pretty cool. I wasnt goin that fast and he just gave me a lil talk and let me go on my way. They usually just wanna let u know that when u ride like an idiot they have to "scoop u up wit a shovel" and then "wash the rest of u away wit a hose". Plus they end up givin u a break most of the time cause they know that u can outrun them and u just saved them a bunch of hassle. Just play it straight cause it aint worth losin your bike.
