What?s on | Motor Museum

Mrs SB 2.0 and I are going there tonight to watch an outdoor screening of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. BYO food and drinks, there will be about 3 hours beforehand (not dark until 9ish) to view all the displays, partake many nibbles and drink champagne.

I'll have to frock up for this one

Cheers, SB

Sounds like a grand time Seb. Be careful and don't get too frocked up.

You're only 5 hours from Wheels Through Time. Have you been there? Its definitely on my list. 13 hour ride for me so I'd need to pack a night roll and tent. They raffle off a nice bike each year. This is the place that has the Traub.

I'm a bit closer to Motorcyclepedia. There are some cool clips on the site. The clip that says 'De Dion Bouton Documentary' is a good one. We take the 2 1/2 hour scenic ride down, then lunch at OCC Cafe and pound the 4-lane for 1 1/2 hours home. If you watch the Motorcyclepedia welcome clip, the military bike that's up close belongs to a friend of mine. He received some awards for the restore.

I have not, thanks for the link. I've always wanted an excuse to go up and run the Dragon's Tail. Since they are fairly close to each other, this gives me a reason to make it a long weekend.
Going to OCC Café sounds like a treat. I would enjoy that. There's a rumor they are going to bring back the show. Haven't read anything concrete on that though.

All the bikes they built are there in an area where they surround OCC shirts and hats and stuff. I guess the customers order the bikes and when they are presented, they get their name on TV but really want nothing to do with the bike itself so OCC keeps them. <-I guess!

Then walk through an opening and into the cafe for a brew.
