Default Road Trip Coming Up - Deals Gap, Barber Motorsports Museum

Well, this Saturday, Jun 30th, my wife and I will be heading out on our bikes headed to the N. Georgia, N. Carolina, and Tennessee mountains. With a side trip over to Birmingham, AL to visit theBarber Vintage Motorsports Museum. We'll spend a couple days in N. GA with family for the 4th of July. We'll take a few days to ride up there from S. FL. No hurry, going to take back roads all the way. We'll then head over to Deals Gap and the Tail of the Dragon, as well as taking in the Cherohala Skyway among others. After a couple of days, then over to Birmingham, AL to visit Barber. We've been looking forward to this for quite some time. After we return, I'll let you know how it goes. I'm on a 94 1000F and my wife is on her 97 600 F3. No we're not trailering them, they're not broke. We pack light, usually with a duffle bag on the back seat and a small tank bag. We'll take advantage of family and do laundry while were there.

Just thought I'd share this with y'all.

Been there, done that. Cherohala is much more suited to a relaxed ride versus the Gap.

And had an absolute blast! Make sure to wave to Killboy if you see him at the Gap.

Make sure to wave to Killboy if you see him at the Gap.
Maybe instead you should give him the finger, since he's just sitting there hoping for you to crash. On second thought, since he's usually set up at spots he thinks are crash magnets, maybe you should just keep your hands on the bars.
