Yeah, that actually happened to me. I was riding with my buddy when i saw something shiny bounce off the road in front of me. His bar end came off and just missed my bike as it flew off into the grass on the side of the road. Needless to say, if it had taken a different bounce, it would have really sucked for my head or bike.

Man that totally sucks!!! One of mine fell off sometime last season I think in my garage, I never found it. Now I check them before I ride.
