Ban motorcycles?
Bwaah ha ha ha....you guys are funny! Statistics? 72 fatalities in 100,000 users? That is less then 1/10 of one percent right? Pretty good odds if you ask me. With those odds I'm gonna suggest that we all stop wearing helmets and ride in flip-flops. I bet if they banned cages instead, they'd find that motorcycles would have even less fatalities then cages ever did. Why is it okay to slowly die of obesity and stress (heart disease) worrying about others, but not okay to to make others fear for your safety? Since we are all gonna die anyway, they should be more concerned about the quality of life instead of the length. Do folks who die slowly from heart disease suffer less then a MC rider? What I wanna know, is how many people per 100,000 people who ride motorcycles (with greater then 100 hp) die of cardiovascular disease?
They should ban people who don't use their mother****er turn signal!
(I wonder how many of those 72 per 100.000 were the car driver's fault. Running someone off the road and then blaming their mode for transportation sounds a bit childish to me. Sure bikes are more dangerous than cars in general but I've seen plenty of dodgy looking cars and drivers that aren't that much safer! Motorcyclists pay much more attention to the road too.)
