Well my sister came down to take me to the docs ... took one look at me and said I'm taking you straight to hospital ... I must admit it was bad, I could hardly breath and was gasping for air ... we geminians are known for weak respiratory systems at the best of times...

To cut a long story short I was admitted and diagnosed with pneumonia ... no wonder I felt so bad on Friday ... they kept me in the Friday and Saturday .. put me on a drip and oxygen and have put me on antibiotics and pain killers ... it feels like my whole ribcage has been kicked and is bruised, it's painful to breath too deeply... I think with the superbug from two weeks ago plus I had something nasty over Christmas that my whole immune system is shot to pieces ... my sister is here looking after me and I keep drifting off to sleep ... I am resting, can't do anything else just now .. I'll browse posts, get sleepy and have to snooze again...but I'm much more comfortable now ...just extremely weak ...

I've been signed off for a month ... they say I'm shot to pieces, my immune is all but burned out ... lost too much weight too now, but I can't eat properly .. just living on fluids and complan, vitamins and things...

If I could I'd share my immune system with ya. The flu here has been real bad (I believe they did the wrong formula this year) and everyone has had it but me. This was a month or so ago but I havent been sick in years. I get the occasional upset stomach or headache but other than that I'm always fine. I havent had a flu shot in years or any other kind. I live with two people that got it and I was around them the whole time they had it and and other people I've been around. Maybe I'm a carrier. [sm=badbadbad.gif]


Anyways. I'll international ship you some immune system just for ya.

Any ways..sorry to hear you are still feeling bad..my immune system has been shot since i was a baby (2 years i think) and im sick atleast once a week..theres just days where i feel good enough to get out of bed and go to work.. good luck with the recovery.

I think kid was justtrying to be funny, but it did sound a little insensitive.....

 

I don't think I have an immune system anymore ... if I get anything on top of this pneumonia .. I'm all but doomed ... wouldn't be so bad if I could at least eat and sleep properly ... thank you anyway :-)
