I took mine on its first trip today 395 miles and have no complaints.
its a ogio, politan. fits my 17'' HP laptop and anything else I need to carry.

(mines blue and black)

I would rather have a hard pack, but i couldn't justify 130$ for a backpack.

I ride with the ICON Mil-Spec bag. Its bright orange and silver. Fits the needs of the Navy, so I am happy and it has alot of space, including a sleeve for a lap top. If you dont want Orange, they've just put out a black version, they are the same except the color. A bunch of guys on my boat use the bag. No real issues with it. The shoulder pieces come off, so its more of a backpack deal.

I just ride with a pretty standard backpack, It's a tan Puma pack, with reflective stripes on the back, and straps. The only complaint i have is that it can get run out of room sometimes, but thats only when i pack my tarp, bungee cord, clothes, shoes and spare visor in it. I still sometimes wish it would hold more, though...

My preferance is a magnetic tank bag, however, the tank cover on the new RR is plastic. Backpack it is. One thing I try to do is put the zipper all the way left or right...I lost the contents all over the road when they were centered at the top. The pack just peeled open with the assistance of the wind...

I just have a regular backpack, I think it's a hiking Eddie Bauer Ed., but I use it for everything, I used it to ride back and forth to/from school (books, etc) and work with clothes. I even play a little game, I try to go to Wal Mart and see how much I can pack into it so I can still take my bike to the store instead of the car. Two gallons of milk, juice and a few little other things. Works like a champ.
