this is why i keep all my money at my house in a small fireproof safe inside a large fireproof gun safe. i can't stand banks... at all.

The banks arent charging people. Its the companies.

Any time a company accepts plastic, THEY are charged a percentage of the sale from the credit card company (visa, mastercard, etc) every time a plastic is swiped. They are trying to make some of the money back.

Credit card companies dont just make money from interest.
But Ranger, Thats part of doing business. I don'tpay a transactionfee for their store front or the utility bills it's already added to the product price, the atm fee should be absorbed in the product. Plus most atm fees are 2.3% and lower with a monthly fee. So a fast food charge of $7.00 is only .16 cents and say the monthly feeworks out to be .10 per customer .26 cents for the transaction means their making money if they charge .50. So they are not trying to make their money back, they are making a profit off of it...
