after the hurricane here in Houston lots of spiders were ever where. My gf got bit by a brown recluse spider and we were lucky to go to the ER and they knew what it was the 2nd day and she never lost a chunk out of her leg.

looks just fine now but damn scary hehe.

Holy ****sonuvabitch those looked brutal, hope I never get bit by one, my mom's friend did on her thigh, gangrene set in, was laid open in the hospital for weeks (as in her stomach, etc. was literally cut and fastened open to clear out infection) I'm told she has a scar from one thigh ACROSS to pelvis (yeah THAT is included, you know what I mean) and back across stomach.

Last place I lived (Gosford, Central Coast) these buggers where everywhere in backyard. But there were Trap doors & Red Back spiders as well, but you have to real unlucky to get bitten though.

I used to catch this specific small spiders; it will be kinda black green color when I was a kid, we will keep it inside a matchbox filled with leaves. Meant for fighting and it will be awesome to see them fighting! Boy, really miss those days!

I freakin hate spiders. They send chivers down my spine anytime they're bigger than a nickel. Smaller than that I'm fine with

spiders aren't bad. i mean hell there's a spiderman. never heard of a snakeman. i guess it's one of those things where if you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone, but if it's in my house it's going to die.
