Never had one on my F4i but I am rocking one on my RR cause it was on it when I bought it.

Has anyone put the Honda kit on? If so, did you like the results? I am thinking about this but not sure of it will add to the looks of the bike or offer significant protection.

If you have put a tank kit on, is it easy enough to remove later?

yep, I have that Honda one on, Tank pad and gas ring thing. I like it

Immortal graphics does a nice job of creating a custom tank pad for you.
Choose your size and shape then send them your design.
