Better question would be who doesn't use one? I use the naked girl in space [front view] that I've had on since new in 07.

Of course, superman!! I always had tank pad since the beginning. BTW read up on my review about Novus plastic polish. It takes scratches off. I even used it instead of doing wet sand. The result was good

I use one. Had a faux carbon fiber tank pad on there before, and will be putting a rubber MotoGP pad on this time around.

Only because I got the bike with one already on it. At this point it needs so much work I'm not sure some scratches on the tank would really both me too much.
