Nothing that had ever hindered me from using the device. Like I said just kinda slow sometimes, will need a reboot. Using the keypad to dial with you finger is a royal pain. but ya, it has never given me trouble beyond the minor design flaws. did you look at the 8525 before you bought the 8125?

 

Yea, I did. I got this one for a deal thought. It was used but in prestince condition and I thought the price was really good for the phone. I bought it locally off craigslist, there werent any 8525;s though.

BTW, anyway to change the main screen/wallpaper/background. When you use WiFi, it doesnt charge you correct?

 

u can chnage the wallpaper and no wifi is free to alllllll!!!

i would tell u but i dont know where the phone is at i think its in setting something or u go to the pic and u go to options and set as wallpaper. but i dont know i will look for the phone. i am plying css online right now and during my dead time i am here at fourms.

as far as i know for changing the backrounds you need to download entire skin packages because each application and each window have there own skin. I would recommend going over to http://howardforums.com for all sorts of info on that phone. You are correct about the wifi, if you are connected to a wireless network,such as your house, then you wont be charged, just be certain that you are definately using the wifi connection and not the data connection. I have heard of people who thought they were using wifi but they were using the data connection and they got like $300 bills.

 

ya, james is right for the backround image. I'm still pretty sure there are full themes you can download to which will match all of the applications color schemes and stuff like that, might not be what your looking for though.

 

I dont have a setting that says personal. I am using WM6 if that matters. I am using a program called NoData where I disabled Cingular GPRS, Nedia Net, MyISP are all disabled. How in the hell do yo udownload skins from that site, haha.
