Anyone ever park on the sidewalks?
mopeds on campus park on the sidewalk and I have this almost irresitable urge to push them over, so needless to say I dont park there. Want to know something even crazier? On campus mopeds get to drive on the sidewalk. One day...
well glad to see i am not alone. Ya i park in the stripes at walmart. I don't care if they care. I don't want know idiot turning into a parking space and smaking my bike and driving away.
^ im always ****ing worried about some ******* moron not paying attention or pulling in too fast and saying "oops!" and driving away ... omg i think id have to seriously hurt someone if they did that
i always park on the sidewalk as close to the entrance as possible. less likely to be stolen and sometimes folks dont see a bike in a space if its between thos 2 big SUV's and they just whip right in the spot and hit your bike. dont want to take a chance

when i still rode on the street i always parked on the sidewalks everwhere i went, and anyone that gave me **** or a dirty look got punched in the ovarries...staright shot.
And I thought only Harley riders parked on sidewalks...
I try and use regular spots, but when I use them I park in the most visable ones. Ihave been pretty lucky so far in that therehas been some small spot open next to a fire hydrant that I know no SUV is going to fit into. There are a few local spots though that you almost have to park on the sidewalk because the walk is so big and the parking is limited.

The reason they do this is because it is state/federal? law that says handicapped parking spots must be a certain percentage of your total parking places 10% sticks out in my mind. We all know how big walmart parking lots are, so it makes sense that they have a ridiculous amount.
