Anyone catch the Superbikes marathon on Speed?
I really dig that show. In addition to showing all the crazy things that I would never do, allowing me to live vicariously through them, it gives some good riding tidbits on technique.I caught a few bits that have truly helped me.
As I had posted before its been years in the saddle of a cruiser since my last sportbike. I had basically forgotten how to ride hard. Where to sit in the saddle, proper posture, so many things easy to forget.
After boning up a bit, I have managed to feel a bit more comfortable in the twisties. I am actually starting to use the bike to a small degree of its capabilities. My buddies say I ride like granny...lol.
Think I may take some more advice from the show and enroll in an advanced rider course.
