Default anybody know how....

...to connect this dvd burner to a laptop. i'm not sure is it's even possible but thought i'd run it by you guys before getting rid of it. thanks in advance

It's not possible, you need to go buy a external dvd that runs off a USB

You need something like the link below, I believe it is a sata slot and that might work to make it into a usb drive.

That is exactly what you need. I have several, they work great. (I work in I.T.)
