If you are more into daily commuting and touring I will suggest the bridgestone 021, hard compound in the center and soft in the edge.
Those diablo or bt016 is exceptionally awesome but you will bleed to see the tire worn off so fast for commuting use especially for heavier bike like mine.

I put a sport attack on the rear of my F3 in the begining of the season and love it! Was the first time I ran a 160 so it's hard to justify, but it took really well to corners even with the cold spring temps. Only reason I picked the sport atack was because dennis kirk had them on clerance so I'd shop around

Bear in mind this is coming from a guy who cant stay upright on 4 wheels

Sorry Adam, couldnt resist Wont thread jack, but hope your doin better and home anyhow.

I like the continental been running it for awhile now. Posted little something about it down in the old CBR 1000 section there is a picture of the can and pegs feelers it leans right on over

BTW

cloud, how are the attacks in the rain? and how are they leaned over? these would be for my daily driver, in also cold Maine. so you having used yours in NH weather interests me.
I think they are great in the rain. I've been caught on 93 more than a few times in those nice surprise afternoon thunderstorms and I have yet to hydroplane, even in white-out conditions. Due to the dual compound rubber (harder compound for wear resistance through the middle and a softer outside edge for better leaning grip) I have never noticed any loss of traction in the twisties. Just a good all-around sport-touring tire for relatively cheap.
