Redford Township dog returns to life after vet’s attempt to euthanize it

The site where I originally found the story had a little bit more information. Apparently the vet that did the procedure refuses to comment until the owner "proves it's the same dog"

Maybe too low of a dose?

I agree with Classic... I'd be giving her a nice place to lay, and just let her go naturally.

My old Shadow Dog came to me, and looked me in the eyes.
He knew it was time, and then so did I.
They use 2 vials, he was gone after the first half of the first one.
I will miss him always.
If there are no dogs in Heaven, you can keep the place...........

Now THAT I understood at least (maybe form the lack of U's). Dogs are great.
I'm thinking about getting another once we move in December.

Yep, I love dogs. I don't remember ever not having one.

The story actually creeped me out a little... we had to put my dog down about a month ago and it's a horrible feeling to think that he may have woken up.

Well to update you on the story, the family don't want to euthanize the dog again. But they also have decided to put her up for adoption.
Dog gets new leash on life after nearly being 'euthanized'
