on the flip side, you can sue and get lots of bling!

there's a reason that the anesthesiolist's insurance premium is so high you know?

Keep up the worry-wartin' and you're gonna have a nightmare about it when you go under...

Aww just playin' man, relax, you know what to expect. Some of the best sleep you've had in a long time followed by people leaning over you and bright lights as you recover, not to mention the sometimes crappy food (one of our hospitals has KILLER food). Beeps and buzzes and flashing, colored-lights ...

You'll be fine now just relax will ya! You're starting to creep out some of the guests with all your 1 in 2135 stuff, lol...

just think it may suck if u are awake but if it does happen ur gonna be one rich *** dude and able to buy everyone on this forum a brand new bike. I dont wanna tell u this but u have more of a chance of dying from od of ansthesia than staying awake. always remember to look at the dr's eyes before he give u the cocktail. if his eyes look really glassy request another anstesiaologist. hell i did the guy looked high as hell and they though i was nuts but i told them ur not the one laying on the table being medicated by a friggin drugged anstesiologist. so be safe and let us know how it went

If you've already had surgery a few times and it hasnt happened then you should already know how you react to the drugs. I believe it has something to do with the particular drug and the particular person. You've already proven it works for you so it should work for you again. As for people sueing when this happens, I dont think you can because theres no way to prove it. Your body will appear to be under perfectly normal. There will be no proof that you felt everything except your word. That won't hold up.

its actually not how you react..but there is really no way to judge how much to give a person unless they are using brain monitoring and i dont think they do here..so in most cases the person isnt givin enough to put them completely out..but the paralytic drug still take effect.

Dude, don't worry about it so much...you'll remember going in...and then you'll wake up. I have had surgery a few times and the worst thing was the hours of dry heaving when I woke up from the anysthesia. So try and look forward to that. And the hours and hours of physical rehab you'll be doing after that. Then you'll be good as new!!

man, ive had a decent amount of surgeries where ive had to get knocked out and ive never had a problem with it. the closest thing that i found to it was when i was a kid at all children's in st. pete. after i woke from double kidney surgery the kid next to me in my room had a coma and he said that he could hear people talking to him and what not. im willing to bet that most of the people that have had this problem happen to them are attention ****** and bandwagon jumpers....probly only a very small amount of the people that have come forward actually have it.
