i would just take your card out plug it into a reader.... put it in your computer, copy all the files to your desktop... eject it put the new card in and then copy or cut and past it onto the new card...

lol idk there were to many responses so rather than reading them all i said screw it and added my own two cents

Tried that but my PC is a POS. Lol. Ran out of memory about half way through. Got my music tranfered though (twice???I'm not sure whats up with that).

As far as rooting, the only thing I think I could benefit from is battery life (if the claims are correct) but that sounds like something more advanced than I am

Vzw moto droid...I got a 16gb card...though onboard memory is less than desired. I keep trying to talk my wife into giving me her Droid 2, but no such luck thus far.

what apps & what phone? From your statement, I'm assuming you have .apk files downloaded on your PC, and are trying to get them transferred over?

easiest way is to download them from the app market. but you can also dl em to you computer and send them to your phone via bluetooth or USB. On my phone anything I send via bluetooth gets put in a dir named bluetooth. Via USB they into whatever dir I put em in. I usually use the download dir that was aready on my phone/sd card. The I just navigate to that dir n tap on the app and it starts doing its thing.
