STI or EVO
I already got enough 'performance' cars. Also, the STI and EVO don't quite have enough luxury for an old guy like me.

I guess I am wondering about the reliability of the nonsense part of the car, like the Nav, stereo, any crazy suspension things, stuff like that. Do the seats feel good for 400 miles? stuff like that. Do you know people that have a TL that REALLY like them even after 5 years?

Friend of mine has an 03 TL. Nice car, but it's falling apart...literally. Some interieor trim pieces are peeling off and hanging, as well as exterior pieces. Well maintained car too, but just one of those things. It also leaves a lot to be desired performance wise. The auto stick is absolutely worthless too.
If you're looking into a metric that's nice and sporty, go with Lexus.
Maybe the new versions of the TL are decent. My neighbor has one and they're really sharp looking.

Yeah, me too, but he bought it used two years ago. Everything that's happened has been in the last 6 months. Nothing major wrong with it, just little quality type stuff - which is surprising coming from Honda/Acura

The Accord sedan, Acura RDX and Acura TL are all producedon the same line at Honda of America Mfg. inMarysville Ohio.
The '04 model year is the first for North American production for the TL. Quality issues areno longer a concern.

(and no, I don't workfor Honda.)

Thats the problem, whoever had it before trashed it, they cleaned it up nice for the sale and then dumped it on your friend
