I'm 5'7 on an 06 1krr and I am pretty much on my toes at a stop. I don't even think I can get both my toes on the ground at the same time. I do have the stock suspension and bumped my preload up so you might be able to monkey around with those settings or a lowering link to drop it a bit more.

What's funny is I actually feel cramped on the bike probably because I came off an F4i which was like a easy chair compared to my 1krr.

ummm what kind of bike do you ride now.
The 1000 rr is almost the same as the 600rr.
I sat on it and feels the same amazinG!
speaking about sitting on it how about you go to a dealer and sit on one?????

Also keep in mind that your overall height has little to nothing do with touching the ground. It's the inseam that matters. Everybody's got a different shape and size, some people are tall in the upper torso while others are all legs.

height has nothing to do with it, u can always lower it.. the questions is are you big enough to handle it, it's only about 15 more pounds so i doubt that would be a problem, just be smart with it, it's twice the bike that you have now..

I love honda's when i was looking for a bike two yrs ago...i went into the suzuki and they told me i was too short for their 600's..i was like what!..so i got a honda....lol.....but that wasn't the main reason i got the honda..but it help me decide....plus there new gsrxs grands are low..i can put both feet down with no boots..so i laugh about it..and blow by the dealer all the time..just to make a point...now the everytime..i go in there they want me to get one there bikes..every time..lol..it feels good...hey why dont you jump on one of ours..its lower, faster..lol..it kills..but hondas are built better..i feel better on the bike.......I drove a 06' 636ninja...it was weird...to light.for me..and the clutch was sooooooooo soft..i mean my pinky can pull it..i didnt like that........i like when everything feels even........that you barely let go..back the bike is off..and when you try to shift....your toe is point down ward. south i say..lol.......i didnt like that either....i dont know...the whole point is that i want a 1000rr....and i to make sure i can ride it.......because seating on it in the store is a little different then sitting on it out on the streets....

but thanks for the infor and hit me up ..if there is any more RIDERS opinion...LOL

ride safe

Get the bike if you can handle a 1k. Lean a butt cheek off at stops lol. Its what I do on my buddy's TALL *** aprilia.

Being smaller helps when it comes to the track, or tucking in for top speed runs against normal, fatter people.

If a liter bike is what you want then check out the gixxer. The seat height on the 1k is shorter than 600.
