I was doing some thinking about the linked ABS braking system over the weekend.

Would it still be possible to do a burnout?

Not saying that I do them, but it can be handy if you get oil or crap on your tire.

I think the 600RR is due for a slipper clutch.
I second that.......after riding a track bike equipped with a slipper clutch, riding without one just doesn't feel right. And I'm sure that's what the outcome will be once we get our ABS system.
Can you explain the difference....I'm a lil bit ignorant....?

It keeps the tire from skidding and hopping during downshifts due to engine braking,

I want one, i am kinda sloppy at downshifts and if i am above 10k my back end gets a little loose.

as far as ABS goes, they could make it really good, or it could be terrible. Hopefully it will be adjustable for rider preference

Just read an article in the Sept 08 Sport Rider Magazine about the new Honda ABS.
Nothing new, just seems to be more of the same that it will be an option starting in 09.
Has some feed back from some test riders in Europe.

Drool... I love that upper cowl and the rear seat cowl. I wonder what other colors they will have,.
