not anywhere close to something i would ride. i still think the 05 is the best looking one they've made so far!

 

worst decision yamaha ever made
only people who will buy this is fanboys and motor enthusiasts (motor is sick, check the specs)
not to mention they added a grand to the price tag

watch that 6 min video in the link in this thread, the engine...etc is amazing. but that being said.....damn its ugly.

I definitely know I hate the front end completely...pure failure. How could the designers been stoked about putting that into production? Of all the possible designs they completely botched it...even the doctor doesn't like it, he doesn't look very happy. It really looks like a skull with eyeballs sticking out....look how far these stupid headlight stick out..


I'm not liking the big sail panels on the side either, nobody likes large flat surface areas on a sportbike...


The tail sucks *****, it's short and the exhaust looks like crap but alas, everyone changes that so it'll slide. Not much you can do about the tail fairing tho.


I didn't really like the way the R6 was going anyway so I'm not surprised. I'd buy an R6s over the R6 any day. I doubt we'll see this look for very long, yamaha is probably reading about the buzz on motorcycle boards and saying "we ****ed up."

The engine is where it's at tho...I can't wait to hear these things with some dual termignoni cans
