2008 CBR1000RR UPDATE

I was talking to our Honda Rep. Today ( I work at a Honda dealer in NY) And he was telling me that the pictures will be available on Honda's website on the morning of Sept. 6th...He doesnt know exactly what it will look like but "rumor" has it that the exhaust will exit from the bottom of the bike. no word on colors or any other specs yet. Suposedly the picture of the repsol in the japanese magazine thats been floating around is the closeest to what it will look like.

They did that last year for the 07 600RR too. For any non-members of the Honda riders association, go and sign up and you should be able to see the pics and specswhen they're released: www.hrca.honda.com

I heard from another 1000RR site thatthis was a photo chop of what was to come and a bad one. Not saying that's its true just brining to your attention what others are saying. Just my two cents, not trying to piss anyone off.

I'm not a fan of the wierd headlight and windscreen ideas that have been coming out lately, but that photo of the Repsol conception is one awesome looking bike.
I also agree that the plate holder looks crappy, and the engine openings look like fish gills. |

Who's midnight is it going to be released on? Is it not already the next day in Japan? Im in California. If I can add correctly, should it not be around 11 am on the 6th in Japan?
