So who's got any info on the new bike? Supposed released info is Sept 29. Looks like no major renovation, but small slight tweaks - kinda of like 929 to 954.

Can anyone translate?

I can't find a MCN in my area either, so does anyone get MCN?

 

I read all about it last week in the mcn, Theres no major changes mostly engine tweeks. The nose cone has slighty meaner lights, theres new paint schemes (as usual) and the belly pan has been modified so it now has a cut out revealing part of the collector on the exhaust like the 04/05 R1. See pic > i think it looks better without the cut out.

I`ve tried lookin for the article on the mcn website but they don`t seem to have it up, its http://www.motorcyclenews.com if ya wanna have a nose.

Agreed on the cutout. I suppose I'll get used to it, like a new car/bike model. I like the look of the thinner seat, and the back end hiding the subframe. The only thing mentioned on the engine is new fuel injection and airbox design. I wonder if that means just an improved MAP or bigger injectors? I doubt they changed bore and stroke. SO unless the head design is improved for better airflow, then why add bigger injectors? Probably improved MAP/ECM. Ahh, I'm not buying a Honda for all out power anyway. PLus, Bolt ons should be available day one - headers and such.

Last bike was a 954 which was stolen a year ago, and I didn't ride the previous year while overseas, so I'm pretty much jonesin to ride.
