Any time I've ridden on the back or had a guy on the back, it was either due to unfortunate circumstances or because it was fracking hilarious.

 

I learned to ride and got into the motorcycle world while I was living in Korea. Over there, it's commonplace to see two dudes/gals riding 2 up like that. It usually has to do with the passenger not being able to afford a bike or just wanting a free ride. I didn't realize it was such a big deal until I got back to the US.
