So today we took the bike out for its 1st real stretch of the legs since winter. It always amazes me that I forget how fun it is just to ride sometimes. I'm looking forward to getting my own bike now just so we can ride together; not just me on the back! LOL I think we have finally gotten the carbs cleaned out and everything warmed back up.

Best part - we just moved to this area not too long ago and we must have met 5 or 6 people while we were out riding today. One guy who doesn't live too far from here just recently purchased a 600rr - the bike has 100 miles on it. I think it definitely makes a great conversation starter........

 

Yuppers, we went riding around, we were cutting through this neighborhood doing the speed limit of 35mph cuz there were alot of kids out running around and this suzuki rider comes flying past me at about 50 looking at me like im crazy b/c im doing the speed limit so i honk my horn at him to tell him slow down for kids and he just waves and speeds up and rides on...what a jackass...yes i met a guy that lives right down the road from me that has abrand spanking new06(or 07 i cant remember which)cbr 600rr that only had 116 miles on it..he flagged me down to ask what kind of exhuast i had on my bike b/c he wanted one for his. he let me take it for a little spin around the block...its nice and fast, quick..but my 900 is better=) still its always nice to meet fellow riders and meet new riding buddies.

 

Must be real nice to find a total stranger who lets you take his bike for a spin.

Funny, you should mention the idiot Suzuki rider. lol Hope your not a "racist".

 

i've actually experienced that a couple times - met a total stranger who just bought a brand spankin' new bike - and he asked if i wanted to ride it!!! i always decline though. but it still shocks me.

 

no not a racist - just against id10ts who don't use their good judgement.
