I do some work on the side and I guy from Detroit contacted me and wanted me to swap frames in a 2006 zx636. Said it was crashed but said it only needed a frame and minor things??? Sounds stolen to me. What do u guys think?

 

Ask for the VIN#s for both the old and new frames. if he back pedals, or gives you a suspect story the bike is more than likely stolen.

Or, you could accept the job, and then check the VIN#s out yourself, and ask the local PD, or the motorcycle version of CARFAX (don't remember the name of the website)

"Race only" frames still have a VIN#. Any frame that does not have the # has had it modified.
