i'm from central jersey (edison wodbridge area). warmer weather is comming up and i'm suped for the season that i didn't get to enjoy last year cuz my f4i was stolen. now i'm back and curious is there any good senic winding roads near or in central jersey..not afraid to travel a bit jus wanna get up and ride, and lookin for others to ride with. it seems my boys talk a big game about taking rides but when it comes down to it alway bitch out..thanx guys. ps. any tracks around here besides pocono?
Get on RT 519 in southern hunterdon county and follow it up north. VERY VERY nice riding. You can also cruise down 611/32 on the PA side, again very nice riding.
Warren and Sussex counties have some nice, winding country roads. Take a look at an atlas and enjoy, but take it easy - these are public roads, and you never know when there will be an oncoming cager coming onto your side of the yellow line, or a slow-moving farm vehicle, or cow **** in the middle of a turn.
New Jersey Motorsports Park in South Jersey is scheduled to be partially open starting this summer.

Ill PM you next time i go up to Bear Mountain..I usually go every other weekend. Its only about 40 min. past NYC.
If your near Englishtown, i could meet you half way. I use to go to E-town quite a bit to race my cars, its only about 1 1/2 hrs from me
as for the riding in NJ, i couldnt telll you where the windy rds are. I always get lost and cant wait to ge out of jersey and its no left turns and dividers in the middle of every rd. [:@]

Warren and Sussex are you best bet, they are the north western counties so they get the winding roads from the terrian. It Tends be a little hilly up there so the roads reflect it. Also it tends to be more rural so the roads are less populated then other spots and the county roads(eg 519) just run on and and on right up into NY.
yeah...warren, essex and sussex counites are the the best and for me the most frequent runs I do b/c its simply beautilfully paved roads... but u gotta check out CT...route 8 is bannanas...
