Just wanted to say what up. I just purchased a 06 1k. All I can say is that it's an amazing bike. I havent owened a street bike for 15 years, man they have come a long way. The only thing that has kept me up to date is racing dirt bikes. This forum is killer, it has alot of useful info, it's helping me with the mods. Keep it up everyone.
P.S. Cant wait for my first track day July 1st. hell yea.

 

you sound very much like me, although i've had my 1krr for about a month...15 years out of the saddle myself, but boy this bike makes me feel like i just kept riding all along....welcome to the forum and safe riding to you.
