Default First bike

About 2 weeks ago I bought my first bike, a 2000 F4 with 8800 miles on it. I had been wanting one for the last couple years and finally bought one, and I couldn't be happier.

Everything is stock except for a +2 rear sprocket the previous owner put on. Also, I removed the CBR, F4, and 600F4 stickers shortly after taking the pictures. The exhaust will be ordered sometime next week, when I decide on which one I want.

I love the yellow. I have a silver and grey 05 F4i. Next to that the yellow color scheme is my favorite.

The F4 series bikes tend to be very forgiving. In other words you can pull some bonehead stuff, and the bike won't throw you off on the ground. I still suggest you be careful. There's a whole bunch of horsepower lurking around at the other end of that throttle cable! Stick to the back roads until you get things figured out. Remember, most of the time when a bike rider gets killed or injured it's because somebody in a car did something stupid, and you can't fix stupid. No matter how good you get, stupid will still be waitng for you out on the main streets and hiways!

Have fun with that beautiful beast, and remember to keep it between the ditches with the shiny side up.

Boo

Negative, although I did see one a while back that look exactly the same on eBay. I bought it from a guy in the town next to me.
