Default What up from Oregon

Hey so I just got my first bike like a month ago(95 CBR F3) and I love it! So driving fast in a straight line is fun but only for so long. My best friend drives a WRX w/ Sti swap full tein coil overs, sways, turbo back, front mount, custom pistons and what not so needless to say he is fast not only in a straight line but especially in the corners. I went on my first drive with him and while I was fast in a straight line in the corners he would be right back on me. SO while I understand experience and practice are the best tools I was looking for some good tips in getting to know my limits and getting comfortable and hell any tips in general.
Thanks
The New Kid

Hey whats up. Getting to know your limits comes with experience and practice getiing comfortable is the same. I'm a new bike rider as well on the roads. I still have a problem with comfort levels but you will get to know your bike soon enough. Everytime I want to go for a bike ride it rains so you probably have more riding experience than I do but don't do anything you are not comfortable with and always drive safe.
have a safe ride is the key to everything.

Welcome to the site. I haven't seen too many posts where someone has gone for a ride with a friend, and the other was in a cage. Like Dragonlady said, take your time and you'll develop more confidence in your riding ability. You'll be dipping into those turns in no time. Be safe out there.

Yeah actually riding with my friend has worked great cause he has a camera mount and unlike a bike camera its always level so it gives me a really good idea of what I am doing. But yeah riding is amazing...

Best place to learn tricks of the cornering trade? Hit up your local track and run a beginner track day session. You'll learn a BUNCH of stuff out there... I can't wait to go myself!
