trouble with pics

hey now, trying to post my pics on the forum and me being a 36 year computer ignorant kinda guy i need some help with out asking my kids first. theyll just rag on me for being old and stupid anyway how bout some help message says file is to big even with only one pic thanks

It's easier to upload the pics to a site such as photobucket or imageshack and link back to them. Our upload size here if very small and the pics look like crap. But we can link the images with ease.

Here's how I got it to work with photobucket. [sm=burnout.gif]

Once you upload any size picture to your gallery in photobucket (its free to sign up and easy to upload pictures to your own online album), click on the edit button and you can change it to the right size for the forum. Now look for four different address bars underneath or close to each picture. The one you want is DIRECT LINK. Left click it and it'll say 'copied.' Now, tab over to the best forum on the web, CBRF, and get your message ready. Put the cursor where you want the picture to be and then click the 'image' button on the top right of the message box. Delete the little http thingy, then right click and hit PASTE. Then hit OK. Then your picture appears like magic! Yeah!


Tabbed browsing works great for this, you can click between photobucket and CBRF without having to load each page or go back and forth. Disable and destroy IE and get Firefox free.

Look at your choices for posting in threads. Use the moutain looking box (add image) and type the url in.
