Hi, My name is Tom... I have owned my hurricane since new in 1987. It was the first bike I bought new and has been ridden every year for the last 20+ years. Other bikes have entered my life but the hurricane has been the most reliable machine i have ever owned. Over the past couple of years I have purchased two more copies, one a basket case 88 andvery good1987. My original bike has been well maintained and ridden hard. The only changes I made were when things wore out... Like braided brake lines, K+N filter, etc. My plan is to keep it as close to stock as possible and use one of my other copies to build the "modified" version I've dreamed of over the years. My other bikes include a gpz550, cbx550, gs450, rz350, two yzfr6, and a gsxr750. I started riding at the age of 8 in the dirt and graduated to the street at 16.I taught on the Canada Safety Council Motorcycle Training course for nine years.
I have searched for forums or owners club a few times over the years but up until now unsuccessfully. Thanks for putting together a great site! Looking forward to sharing information...
