Hey guys, new to the forums and riding in general. Just wanted to give a quick introduction and also a quick question/concern.

I just got me a 2005 Honda CBR 1000rr. I know it's way too much bike for me, especially being a new rider, but a friend of mine was selling, and he knew i was looking and i figured I'd help him out. Now, i have a whole set of gear that i got months before i even got the bike. I wanted to be fully prepared.

Anyways, I've been riding it for about a week now, and everything has been going fine. But, i just noticed today, that down on the bottom right side fairing, in one of the holes in the plastic, a small rubber hose just sticking out..... Now i know he got rid of the stock blinkers, and got flush side blinkers. Don't know if that's what it's from or not, maybe you guys can help.

Its an overflow line. No big deal. just tuck it in.

Congrats on the new bike. Make sure to be careful with all that power!

If you have not already look into taking an MSF class. Especially with being new and having a powerful bike it would be extra beneficial.

Bike looks great! But i'd change out that wind screen to a smoked one.

Welcome Susa! Great looking bike!

Good of you to "help out" your friend. ;-)

I recommend downloading the service manual (links avail here) & familiarizing yourself w/ your bike. It will come in handy down the road, so to speak. ;-)

Ride safe!
