Default Returned to Red in Missouri

After 11 years I now own another Honda, a 2003 CBR954RR. My first bike was a 600F2 in 1998. Then I went to a GSXR750. I thought a Harley would be cool but had it for less than a MONTH LOL! Got a 99 R1 then an 03 R6. I had a wheelie monster 02 GSXR 750 before a Big Bear Venom Chopper ate my wallet for a summer. Then I got my favorite bike I had to date, a 2004 GSXR1000. Don't know why I sold that bike, probably to buy a wedding ring! Well the wife told me if I could find a good deal on another rocket I could play again. So here we are with the 954.

It is a beautiful red and black specimen with a few goodies put on and a few uglies taken off. My first purchase is going to be a CAM CHAIN TENSIONER. The previous owner said he had the head ported and polished and the CCT got screwed up when he put it back together. It is making a hideous ticking at all RPMs. I hope that is what it is anyway. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. The next thing will be a stabilizer so if any of you have one you want to sell shoot me a note. Eventually I will do a -1 +3 520 conversion so she will stand up a little easier.

I look foward to cutting corners and burning up the asphalt with the boys in Farmington MO again.

C ya around.

Grats on being back! Good luck with the tune-up..check the model-specific forums, they should have a lot of good pointers.
