Default A quick hello from the new girl

So I just brought my bike home. It's a red 2001 600F4i. My first bike so I'm excited which makes it suck double that it's sitting in the pick up under a cover 'til the rain stops.

The point of the bike was to help save some money from the gas pumps this summer, but I have a feeling I'm gonna get sucked into modifying it just a smidge.

So here she is.

Good lookin' bike. Welcome aboard!

You will certainly save money on gas for everyday commuting & around town errands...BUT...you'll want to ride all the time & that costs gas money too! :-D

Did you take the MSF Course?

Nice looking ride! Im not baised or anything....

Seriously, welcome to the forum. Saving gas is a plus for a bike. But be warned, the cost of those mods you will want to do and gear drive the cost back up there. But, you will get home in a way better mood than when you drive the car! The smile is worth every penny.

Welcome, you've got a good looking ride! As the others have said, get ready for a many smiles per mile experience.

Thanks for the welcomes.

Yeah, Gotcbr, I've taken the safety course.

Can't say yours looks bad at all either, Demon. I'm not usually a red person but red and black is too classic to look bad. And I know all about the mod bug. But I can't say that this bike will always put a bigger smile on my face than the car. This is my baby but over 4 bucks a gallon hurts.
