Default A quick hello....

Hi Everyone....Just wanted to say hello and Im chuffed to be apart of the CBR force. (Started doing the darth vader breathing then!) Anyways finally got my rear in gear and recently bought a 1998 CBR 600f3 off a friend of mine who decided to become part of the Ninja crew. Absolutly love it....you know when you finally realise what your meant to be doing with your life.....well im finally there. Much to the annoyence of my better half. Found some really useful reading on here already, great article on my bike by Juliet.
Cheers all, take care.

Welcome to CBRF, lizo!
Very cool F3 ya got there. I don't recall ever seeing one quite like it. Neat colors.

Congrats on the bike, and ride safe!

Welcome to CBRF Lizo!! So you're "chuffed", eh? Sounds like you reside across the pond. Hope you can handle all of us Americans butchering the "Queen's English"...lol.

That's a nice looking F3 you have there. Any way we could convince you to post a larger pic of it in here. Like Killed-a-Trout, I'd like a better look at those colors.

Take care on your new baby and enjoy the forums.

Well it's awfully damn nice to meet you kid sirs and thanks for taking the time to respond to ones greeting....hahaha right enough of that crap....here's a larger pic for you eweppley as one requested.

Dude!! That's one sweet looking ride you've got! Those colors are totally rad and the matching wheels are awesome and gnarley all at the same time!!...lol.

Thanks for posting up the pic and I apologize for using the American spelling of colour.

hey Lizo ..we said hello but you can have your official welcome from me too!! :-)

Your bike is the same as mine and I shall check the colour code badge when I go out later ... it was known as copper/black/grey here ... I love how it really stands out when the sun hits the coppery parts ... not too many left now this colour :-)

Wow! Juliet your bike looks like it belongs in a museum. Absolutly mint. I hope I can get my bike looking as good as that eventually. There are a few scrapes on it which annoy the hell out of me as I am one of those people that will wax the fuel tank 10 times as once will never do, just to get perfection. Thanks for the welcome and I hope to chat with you all regularly.
By the way, is it just me or does everyone who gets a new bike take 100's of pics of it, cos they just cant have too many. I checked the "My Bike" folder, that i'm sure we all have....dont we?.......and there must of been about 70 pics in there of my bike and other ones I have found on the net to compare against. My wife said i'm sad and obsessed and she wants the old me back, to which I reply.........yeah mmmmm uhuh, yeah erm....uhuh i'm listening sweetheart yeah.

thank you lizo ... unfortunately I wrecked it :-( I bought it new in 1998 and kept it
pristine, it still looked brand new until last year when I had a wee mishap ... I am fixing it
back up to as new and will post some pics of my progress if you like :-)
