i road it home parked it next day key went in but it would not un lock the stering what should i do

 

The dealership you bought it from should pick it up and fix it if it is under warranty.

 

I assume you pushed the key in and then turned...

 

Make sure to take the pressure off the pinby turning the handlebar as far left as you can while pushing down and turning the key. If that doesn't work, slide the forks down from the triple clamp and remove the triple clamp nut on top (I believe 36 mm)so you can remove the triple clamp and replace the ignition lock (two allen bolts hold in the ignition lock - 6mm head). You then have to remove the upper shelf cover (tank cover) and the airbox so you can get to the ignition wiring harness connector. I recommend taking it do the dealer and I hope you're still under warranty.
