Default now a CBR1000 rider

Just got a 2012 CBR1000 as an upgrade to my 01 RC51.

My name is Lee in real life. My handle came from a friend of mine who read it off the gas tank of an RM125 I used to own. My knee wore the "I" off Suzuki.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Suzuk,

Sounds like you have a fair bit of riding experience behind you.

Cheers, SB

Here is a picture of me and my RC. This was taken when we did a Bay Area group ride of RC51's. I'll post pics of the CBR when I find the USB cable for my camera. My original intentions for the CBR was to buy a new 2013 red white and blue one. But when I got to the Honda dealer they had this 2012 red one with 3200 miles, a yosimira (sp) exhaust, and it was $3000 cheaper.

Over the last 2 years I started watching the Isle of Man TT. That's what sold me on the CBR.

Conrice, I haven't checked out any of the other races in the roadracing series, but I will.

My favorite video if the one from 09 showing a helicopter view of John McGuinness doing the last 5 or 6 miles of the lap. When he comes up on that other rider he not only gets him on exit speed out of the corner, then the engine comes on and he just blows by. That CBR be lookin good.

OK. I took a picture my CBR. The rim decals aren't that bright, It's the camera flash. I haven't started the RC since I've had this one.
