Thanks guys for the compliments on my '91 CBR1000. I'm very proud of the ol girl. I bought her from my friend in LaPorte,Tx. a lil over a year ago. He was the original owner of it. We met way back in June of '91 when he just had the bike a few months. I was then on a '81 CB900 Custom, then in August of that year bought a '88 Hurricane 1000. Had the Hurricane till about a year ago. Sold it to buy the '91 I now have. Tom was hard pressed to see his bike go but in order for him to buy a '08 CBR 1000RR he had to let one go. He knew me & how hard I tried to take care of my ol hurricane. So he knew his ol baby was in good hands. The bike is mostly original no new paint has been done, just clearcoated a few panels that were slighty getting dull. Bike has got around 39,000 miles on it with new Dunlops Sportmax's Qualifiers on front & rear. Motor is pretty much stock with a few additions. It has a tinted Zero Gravity Windscreen, Factory brand Stage 1 jetkit, complete TBR exhaust with centerstand retained, thumb type cruise control, timing advancer, K&N filter and shift kit in it. Not to mention an oversized rear sprocket for better bottom end & midrange. Has surprised quite a few newer sportbikes in the last 10 years not to mention since I've had her. So as you can see I'm quite happy with the ol girl. I'll proly end up with a corbin his & her seat with the lil backrest before its all over. Gotta keep the ladies as comfy as possible while blazing down the roads. lol! I'll try to get bigger pics up soon so bear with me on that guys. Till then thanks again & your bikes look just as good too. So be proud of them as I know I am. Later guys!
