Default noobie here cbr600 f3

hey guys, names mike. I live in central florida, vero beach to be exact. I just bought a 1996 cbr600 f3 last night, and im wanting to start learning. This is my first bike, although ive ridden before.

As of right now the bike is not running. It ran fine up until last night. The guy i bought it from dropped it going like 10mph. It scratched the fairings up a bit, and put a small hole in the (crankcase cover?) So i need a new one of thoes, i have no idea how much they are. Also im thinking there is some dirt or something in the carb, he got it running rode it a lil bit, then it stalled. He got it running again, rode it a bit, it stalled again. So after a few hours i finally bought it for just over $1000.

I look forward to learning and meeting you guys!!

-mike

central florida, vero beach to be exact
I took a ride to Driftwood Inn (just south of SR60, on the beach)to get a burger at Waldo's a few weeks ago, Long story short, I flipped up my visor while stopped at a stopsign to talk to my passenger, rolled a little then flipped it down, two minutes later two of Vero's finest were interrogating me and then gave me a written warning. Needless to say, watch your Ps and Qs in that city, beautiful beachside town, but the cops need something to do.

lol yeah thats BS... The VBPD has nothing better to do. Out in the county there a little less harsh, but they too can still be ***'s.
