Welcome to CBRF!! If you've got questions, we've got answers. Check out the 600F4 forum for answers to your specific questions.

I would attempt to change the oil yourself. It's pretty straight forward for anyone with even modest mechanical ability and then you will start learning more about your new ride. Just do a search and I'm sure you will find a tutorial about how to go about doing it. Good luck and enjoy the forums!

BTW - You've got a beautiful bike. That yellow color scheme is one of favorites for CBRs.

Hello! I live around LA too. I lube my chain every 500 miles or so.

Welcome to the forums, Mr330i!
Changing oil shouldn't be a problem at all, and once you get used to the bike and the idea of maintenance you'll be doing plenty of things (if you choose to, of course). Like CBRClassic said, grab a manual.

Very sharp looking bike, for sure. Enjoy the ride, and be safe!!
