Noob!
Just wanted to say hi. I've been in and out of the forum for a while, had another user a couple years back but can't remember the user name, been inactive for a while. No biggy. I live in Orlando, moved down here from Kentucky to go to school. Ready to move back as soon as I graduate, miss my twisties! I have 3 bikes currently , 2004 Honda VFR800 ( Matte Black ) my everyday riding / touring bike, 2003 Honda CBR ( Gloss Black ) my track bike since I crashed it last year, and a1987 Honda VFR700 ( umm, missmatched fairings!) which is my project bike. Will post pics below. I've been riding for about 6 years, I'm 24. I'm more of an agressive touring rider, I like to take long trips, 600 mile days, or a few weeks cross country rides, but I love to drag a knee on the way there, which is why I ended up with the VFR as my everyday bike, comfortable, and capable. Cya guys around.

RE: Noob!
Thanks guys.
BB: I think my project 87 was orignally white, when I was sanding down one of the fairings to see how many layers there are, the bottom layer on a couple peices were just scuffed up white where they weren't completely stripped before the last 2.. or 3 paintings on it.
Joe Rocket. Its hard to take care of. You can't wax it and its really really easy scratched because of the lack of clearcoat (protection). Actually the onlything on my VFR painted is the gas tank ( metal )... all the plastics are dyed matte black in the molding. I wouldn't trade the matte black color out for anything. I actually drove all the way from Kentucky to Kansas (800miles) to pick the bike up because I wanted the matte black and there was only red ones local, the closest one that color I could find was in Kansas. Sucked but worth it. When you FL guys go riding PM me. I go riding almost every weekend anyway, always up to explore some of the places I don't know about.
